(this file was a torrent by the way.) I used Transmission to extract it that took a few hours.Īfter the extraction and Transmission was complete, the file became a DMG file and was titled “Mac OS X Install DVD.toast.” I went ahead and changed the file extension from “.toast” to “.iso” I downloaded a PPC version of Mac OS X 10.4.
